Friends of the Desert Park is a dedicated volunteer group committed to supporting and promoting the Alice Springs Desert Park. Since 1997, we have partnered with Park management to help protect this unique environment and enhance visitor experiences.

Our main goal is to ensure the Desert Park remains a vibrant, accessible, and inspiring place for all. Friends are particularly active in fundraising to provide equipment and programs that are normally beyond the Park’s budget and reach.
